The Thermofisher TSQ 8000 is a triple quadrupole mass spectrometers controlled with Chromeleon 7 software integrated with a NIST Spectral Library for unknown peak identification.
The TSQ 8000 is equipped with Direct Injection Probes and Direct Insertion Probes that can introduce samples directly into the mass spectrometer ion source, allowing for accurate analysis of highly polar, thermally labile solid or liquid compounds, polymers, composites, or organisms and determine the mass spectrum of substances that cannot usually be analyzed by gas chromatography.
